    Have 120ft of 2' DOM sticks and a chromeoly rear end housing has surface rust all over...best way to shine it back up?

    I use 120 grit sand paper as I use the tube. Takes it right off

            I figured ha some people use scotchbright pads and wd40 but then you have to clean it a second time to remove the wd 40

              If you use acid it will take it right off as well but it micro etches the surface and causes it to rust again within hours. That's why I do it as I use it

                Oh ok yeah that makes sense, scotch bright is what I was gonna use with some acid but I'll just use that and some 120grit thank you
