Hey guys I've got a question for all DD users.

What is the general opinion of the DezertDimes frontpage?
Do you like the articles and content on the frontpage?
Or do you normally skip it and come straight to the forum?

Give me your input so I can make DD better!

Evan

Depends on the day. If I see something new up, I read it before heading to the forums but if I just see the same thing I go straight to the forums. I like the way its set up tho. It is appealing... At least to me anyways.

99.9% of the time I go straight to the forums cuz on one of my computers the forums are set as my homepage. But I do sometimes check them out when I see something interesting.

I read it every so often when there's somethin new. It should be updated frequently to keep interest for our forum readers. I like stories with a lot of pictures of the latest-greatest rides and products available. I think you should plan THE BIG DEZERT DIMES SHINDIG in the dez soon Evan with pictures and the story to go with it. It could only help the bruthahood grow! There's plenty of racing going on soon and it's riding season again! That's excellent front page material.

Thank guys, thats exactly the feedback I needed to hear.
I try to keep it updated, but its hard.
I don't have a ton of free time, and it takes a little while to get an article up there.

Keep the input coming!

i like the front page, as a front page, unless you have something better up your sleeve. i prefer something like that rather than just linking strait to the forums.....

Nothing better at the moment Jeffro.
I just wanted to see if people were checking it out regularly.
I really want to ramp up the content and articles on there, but I wanted to get some opinions on what people thought of the current setup before I do that.
I'm probably gonna tweak the layout a little bit, theres stuff on there thats not necessary (like the popular/comments/featured/tags box on the right side) that I need to get rid of.
