Hey everyone, i have a 98 ext cab 4.3 that is currently lowered. I'm sick and tired  >:( of weaving my way around bumbs on the freeway, in parking lots, and avoiding speedbumbs altogether. so i am going skyward cause i cant stand a stock ride  ;D . But if i do this i want to go long travel, however, budget is an issue, but i have heard some bad things about the AIM and Fabtech kits. I can afford right now tops 1000, but would like to stay closer to 800. So, i'm looking at the Baja Customs upper arm kit.
Couple questions
What other items will i need to complete the install?
How much lift/travel will i get?
Will i have the option for further add-ons in the future to make it a true long travel install?

I think the aim is a pretty decent kit, and you can get the kit for under a grand.

Z-man, my upper arm kit is a good choice if you can't afford Long travel but still need some off-road capabilities.
What other items will i need to complete the install?
Other than the kit you would need to purchase lift springs.
How much lift/travel will i get?
3" of lift depending on the spring, wheel travel is close to stock.
If your just looking for 3" of lift I would first recommend a lift spindle, but if you want 6" of lift you need an upper arm kit.
These arms won't work with my stage one kit, they are too short.
