SapperB’s Iraqi 6×6 Offroad Adventures!

Posted on 30 March 2009 by Evan

Check this out!

Our very own SapperB offroading an Iraqi 6×6 while deployed in 2003.
This was published in Off Road Magazine around that time.

Note that Bruce gives props to S10 prerunners years before I even bought my truck,
so we all owe DezertDimes to him!

The Pirate Labs Prerunner BBQ 3/7/09

Posted on 08 March 2009 by Evan

Note: Article by A.J. Stonebreaker

Well i would like to start off buy saying Thank you to Mike and the guys down at the pirate lab. It was a great show, nice trucks, cool people, no drama, nothing. Thanks again. The Pirate Lab T-shirts are BAD ASS!!! and the free stickers. Nice job guys. Lets do it again.

Mike has some of the stuff he was working on, sitting on the table in the shop and some of it was just so sick! Some of the work that comes out of there is just amazing. If you have the chance to go down there, or this kind of thing happens again, at least go for a little bit and check it out. Its pretty cool.

One of the guys has the fork lift out and did a flex stress on a number of different people’s trucks. First was Carlos’ ranger, and then a member from DezertRangers’ beamed ranger, Nissan frontier, and a Ford F-250. Pics of each will be shown below, take a look. Pretty impressive!

The most amazing truck there was the Pirate Lab-built Dodge Durango…… Very nice truck, pics below will show the coil over kit on the front end, its amazing! It is a 4wd truck, with no axles on the front, so really its only 2wd, but the 4wd unit is still installed. That thing was crazy, I loved it.

Thanks again to the guys down at the Pirate Lab for putting this on!

-A.J.
